The sculptures are delicate, constructed mostly of paper. These are metaphorical works, based on mythological, geological, religious, and littoral themes. John Billir.gham is a British subject who has resided in this country
most of his life. He received his education at Philadelphia College of Art gaining a bachelors degree in sculpture in 1973. In 1975 he attended Tyler School of Art, doing graduate work in sculpture there.
